Mararikulam Shiva Temple-It's a temple of Lord Shiva and Parvathy, which is quite incomparable in its architecture grandeur.

Kokkamangalam Apostle St. Thomas Pilgrim Centre-Build by the Christian community, this is one of the famous pilgrim center created by St. Thomas in Kerala.

Thumpolly Beach - It's a beautiful beach and natural habitat for birds. Another attraction around the Marari is St. Thomas Church, which is dedicated to holy Virgin Mary.

Thiruvizha- Located 5 km towards the south-west of Cherthala, it is very famous for the Shiva temple that captivates large number of tourists from all across the world.

Aroor- It's an industrial park especially highlighted for exporting sea food. Some of the popular landmarks are Kartyayani Devi Temple, St. Augustine's Church, and Pavumpayil Sreekrishna Swamy Temple.

Arthunkal- It's a major pilgrim center situated at the distance of around 8 km towards the south-west of Cherthala town from where one can view a beautiful beach.

Poochakkal- The major attractions of Poochakkal are Sreekandeswaram Mahadevar Temple, Nagari Sree Dharmasastha Temple, Thevarvattom Masjid, Elikkattu Sreedharmasastha Temple, and Manappuram St.Theresas church.

How to Reach

By Air - Kochi is the nearest airport to reach Marari beach. From the airport, you can hire car or taxi to reach the beach.
By Rail- The nearest railheads are at Alleppey (16 kms), Kottayam (42kms), and Cochin (Ernakulam) (55 kms).
By Road - Cochin is easily accessible by road, which is at the distance of 60 km. NH 47 is situated at the distance of approx. 1 km from Marari village.
